The Addressing Online GBV and Digital Safety Community focuses on practical and collaborative approaches to countering technology-facilitated abuse against women journalists and human rights defenders. It brings together technologists, women-led organizations, media professionals, and policymakers to develop and test accessible digital safety tools and training guides. Its roadmap prioritizes survivor-centred policies in newsrooms, ethical AI practices, and stronger mechanisms for reporting and redress. Emerging from multilingual (English and French) discussions, this Pan-African Community continues to share knowledge and co-create resources that advance a safer and more inclusive digital environment for women in media.
